Why Family Support Is Important
Every family can experience difficult periods. Parents may sometimes feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure about how to manage challenges with their children. Communication can break down, conflict can increase, and parents may feel that they are losing control of the situation or becoming disconnected from their children.
Seeking support early can be an important step towards creating positive change. Families do not have to wait until problems become more serious before asking for help. With the right guidance, parents can learn practical strategies to improve communication, establish healthy routines, set appropriate boundaries, manage conflict, and build stronger relationships with their children.
At Vision Mentoring Academy, we believe that asking for support is a sign of strength, not failure. Our special family mentoring packages are designed to give parents a safe, respectful and non-judgemental place to discuss their challenges and receive practical guidance.
Our goal is to help families strengthen their relationships, improve stability at home and give parents greater confidence in managing difficult situations.

At Vision Mentoring Academy, we understand that parents can sometimes feel judged or ashamed when they are struggling with family life. Our role is not to judge parents or tell them that they have failed. Our role is to listen, understand their situation and help them identify practical steps they can take to improve their family environment.
We believe that early support can make a meaningful difference. By helping parents develop stronger communication, routines, boundaries, confidence and problem-solving skills, we aim to help families create a more positive and stable home environment.
We also understand that some families may be experiencing serious concerns about their children’s wellbeing or their ability to continue caring for their children. In these situations, we encourage families to seek appropriate professional support as soon as possible. Vision Mentoring Academy can provide mentoring and practical personal-development support, but we cannot guarantee or influence decisions made by child-protection authorities, courts or other statutory services.

End-of-Program Review
Gold Premium is a reserved, personalised mentoring program. Once the participant has been accepted and the program has commenced, all program fees paid are non-refundable, subject to any rights the client may have under applicable Australian Consumer Law.
The program fee reserves mentoring time, resources and personalised preparation specifically for the participant.
For payment-plan arrangements, scheduled instalments remain payable according to the agreed schedule, subject to Australian Consumer Law.
Participants are expected to provide reasonable notice for reschedules. Missed sessions or late cancellations may be treated as used sessions unless otherwise agreed.
Any exceptions, credits or rescheduling arrangements are at VMA’s discretion and considered case-by-case, subject to applicable law.
Vision Mentoring Academy provides mentoring, parenting guidance and personal-development support only. We are not psychologists, counsellors, social workers, lawyers or child-protection professionals. We do not provide therapy, clinical treatment, legal advice or child-protection decisions.
Where a family requires specialist, legal, clinical or child-protection assistance, we encourage them to work with the appropriate qualified professionals and support services.
Good to Know
Rescheduling
Reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your session — just call or email. Late reschedules or missed sessions count as used. If something serious comes up, talk to us — we'd rather work with you than hold you to a rule.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancel a single session at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Stop a package partway through and we'll charge the sessions you've had at our standard individual rate and refund the rest. Packages are valid for 12 months from your first session. If we cancel, you choose another time or a full refund. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
